TERRI SCHULL, Ph. D.

Science Advisor:

​

Dr. Schull is a research scientist with over 20 years of R&D experience.  She has a broad interdisciplinary background in biochemistry and pharmacology, inorganic, organic, organometallic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and materials and surface science.

 

She has been a Principal Investigator/team member for research programs in fuel cells, organic-inorganic hybrid materials and polymers, molecular electronics, energetic materials, and functionalization of semiconductor and metal oxide surfaces.

 

She has 20 years of laboratory experience, with hands-on experience with NMR, IR, Raman, UV-Vis, TGA-DSC, XPS, XRD, XRF, GC-MS, and LC-MS instrumentation. She is a published author (31 papers and 6 patents) and is an experienced presenter, having given talks at 15 national and international scientific meetings.

JOSEPH EVANS, M. Sc.

Science Director:

​

Joseph Evans has 25 years of experience managing, sampling, test method validation, and laboratory analysis, providing sampling and analysis regulatory guidance for Federal EPA Programs.

 

He has been Laboratory Director for two separate Colorado Marijuana Testing Laboratories since October 2013 and is recognized as a marijuana sampling and testing expert. He has participated in several State Marijuana Regulatory Working Groups and has developed marijuana testing and sampling methodologies for potency, contaminants, and terpenes. He then organized and led the Colorado CL Council: a professional organization of every Licensed Colorado Cannabis Testing Lab whose purpose was to improve and ensure correct and consistent cannabis testing.

 

He is a certified laboratory TNI assessor and therefore knows needed QA processes and requirements for laboratory 17025 certifications. As an MJ Testing laboratory Director, he has managed and overseen analyses for bio-contamination, cannabinoid and terpenoid potency and all forms of chemical contamination.

​

He also established a forensic laboratory in Afghanistan for the Department of Defense, managing analysis of IED fragments and collected contraband.
